This is my entry in to her ‘draw The Prince of Flowers (and friends) competition.’ [link]
I kinda missed out the friends - oops, but I want to get this in and up before the deadline of Valentines Day to give my fellow competitors something to think about *grin*
This was also my try out piece on the tryout version of Photoshop CS2 v9 gleaned from the latest ImagineFX mag. It’s ace. I wont it. Damned if I can pay for it though *sulk*
It took me roughly 20 hours to put together. You can probably tell that the flower and the hand (I can’t draw hands) were photographs originally. I tried to paint over them with the wacom graphics tablet to make them look part of the pic, but I’m not sure that I’ve succeeded.
I know there are loads of things to tidy up and buff to a professional polish – but – I don’t know how to do that *grin* I just really enjoyed putting this image together. Makes me wanna do more.
